Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 15, 2026

1. Scope

This policy covers bryanlabs.net, its public infrastructure endpoints, and the tools BryanLabs operates for its own use. Some services have their own policy, such as the Snapshots Privacy Policy. Where a service has its own policy, that policy applies to that service.

2. Information We Collect

  • Server and request logs: IP address, user agent, requested path, and timestamps, including requests to public RPC, REST, and gRPC endpoints.
  • Account details if you sign in: email address, display name, or wallet address, as provided by the sign-in method you choose.
  • Privacy-friendly usage statistics from a self-hosted, cookieless analytics service, and page performance measurements.
  • Cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preference. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Conversations with Tia, the site's AI assistant, if you start one: the text of the conversation, the pages you visit while it is open and a short description of what they show (never your addresses, balances or keys), your browser language, a one-way hash of your IP address, and anything you ask her to pass on (including an email address, if you choose to give one). If you are signed in, she also gets your first name and your reporting country, and the conversation is linked to your account. When you ask her about your own records (your faucet requests, what is new in your saved tax reports, your upgrade alerts), she reads them from your signed-in session, and those figures become part of the conversation. Webhook URLs are never sent to her: you paste them into the form yourself, and one typed into the chat is held back. Voice is processed live to produce the transcript and her replies; the audio is not recorded.

3. How We Use Information

We use this information to run, secure, and improve our services, to prevent abuse, and to respond to you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Google User Data

BryanLabs runs internal tools that connect to Google APIs, such as Google Drive, to store and retrieve its own encrypted backups. These tools are not offered to the public and connect only to accounts that BryanLabs owns.

  • Data from Google APIs is used only for that purpose: writing, listing, and restoring the owner's backup files.
  • It is not sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI or machine learning models.
  • Backup contents are encrypted before they are uploaded.
  • Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Sharing

We run our own infrastructure. We share information only when required by law, or to protect our services and users from abuse.

The one exception is Tia. Her voice, speech recognition, and language model run on ElevenLabs and the model provider ElevenLabs uses, which process each conversation, including anything she looks up for you, to provide the service. What you ask her to pass on reaches Dan Bryan, who runs BryanLabs, and may be filed in our issue tracker; amounts from your own records are withheld from what reaches him.

6. Retention and Security

Logs are kept only as long as needed for operations and security, then deleted. Account data is kept while your account exists. Tia transcripts are deleted after 30 days, here and at ElevenLabs, unless you were signed in: those are kept in your account until you delete them on your account page, which also deletes them at ElevenLabs; requests you asked her to pass on are kept until they are dealt with. We protect data with access controls, encryption in transit, and encrypted backups.
